Survival
Lounge
Intervention / TU Berlin
2020-2021 / Germany
The Survival Lounge project creates a space for intersectional feminist thought, support, and performance, addressing inequality and discrimination in society, academia, and the architectural profession. Inspired by Sara Ahmed’s Living a Feminist Life (2017), it aims to empower, validate, and amplify voices in ongoing feminist discourse. Designed as a physical prototype in 2020, the Lounge was conceived as a space for doubt, reflection, and potential, located at a threshold where ideas can transform through discussion. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lounge is now virtual, offering interactive spaces for reflection, togetherness, and empowerment.
