Series of Illustrations for Places Journal Article on the Reconstruction of Homs, Syria The article focuses on the rebuilding of the Syrian city of Homs after the destruction caused by years of conflict. My approach involved visualizing the complex processes of reconstruction and mapping, with an emphasis on the interaction between historical architecture and modern restoration methods. The illustrations combine analytical maps and artistic interpretations to convey both the destruction and the hope for renewal, which became a key element in the narrative of the city's recovery.
