Zu/Flucht
Exhibition
2021 / Berlin / Germany
The exhibition explores migration and life in exile through a space located at the ruins of Anhalter Bahnhof in Berlin. The exhibition was created using containers that had previously served as temporary housing for refugees in the city.
The Exil Heute section examines the contemporary experience of refugee accommodation in Berlin. Here, the container functions as a kind of “artifact” of our observations, showing how people adapt and personalize the space, balancing the idea of temporary shelter with the sense of a home.
